Bayern Munich reach Xavi Simons transfer agreement as Netherlands star decides he wants PSG exit – but RB Leipzig could still challenge German giants

Bayern Munich are closing in on signing Xavi Simons as the Dutch attacking midfielder no longer wants to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

    Per in Germany, Bayern have reportedly agreed personal terms with Simons' representatives and are hopeful of landing the Netherlands international this summer. The Bundesliga giants will now negotiate terms with PSG as the player still has a contract with them until 2027.

    Simons enjoyed an excellent outing in Germany in the 2023-24 season campaign while on loan at RB Leipzig from PSG. He scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists across all competitions which drew the attention of several clubs across Europe.
